Pastor Kayanja’s Seven-Day Big Fix Conference at Miracle Centre Cathedral entered its third day.
Despite the rain, the conference still attracted tens of thousands of participants, with Kampala Lord Mayor Salongo Ronald Nsubuga Balimwezo among the notable attendees.
The day’s main speaker, Dr. Paul Enenche, preached on “Wisdom for Spiritual Excellence,” urging Christians to make God the centre of their lives, decisions and relationships.

Enenche outlined 11 principles for spiritual excellence:
PUT GOD FIRST
Enenche urged believers to make God their priority in every area of life, saying the fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom.
Quoting Proverbs 9:10, he linked the principle to the biblical example of King Solomon, who requested wisdom, and God responded by making him the wisest man on earth and wealthy.
INVOLVE GOD IN MAJOR DECISIONS
He cautioned believers against making major decisions without seeking God’s direction, particularly in careers, business, location, relocation and marriage.
Quoting Proverbs 3:6, which says, “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths,” Enenche said true success involves discovering and following God’s purpose.
CHOOSE YOUR COMPANY CAREFULLY
He warned against associations that undermine personal values and spiritual growth.
Quoting Proverbs 13:20, which says, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed,” he urged believers to avoid people who “weaken their principles” or “fertilise your weaknesses.”
HEAR GOD DAILY
Enenche encouraged Christians to develop a daily habit of hearing from God through reading God’s Word and seeking His direction.
To drive his point home, he quoted Matthew 4:4, which reads, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
KEEP YOUR MIND ON GOD
He described this as a hunger for knowing God and encouraged believers to remain focused on God and deepen their desire to know Him by quoting Isaiah 26:3, which says:
> “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
LIVE A LIFE OF PRAISE
Enenche urged Christians to cultivate praise, worship and thanksgiving and quoted Psalm 100:4, which states:

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
PRAY AND FAST
He described prayer and fasting as important disciplines for spiritual strength, urging believers to make prayer a constant part of their lives.
Quoting Luke 18:1, he reminded them to “pray, and not to faint.”
RESPECT SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY
Enenche also spoke about submitting to spiritual authority, citing apostles, prophets, pastors and other spiritual leaders as instruments God uses to guide believers.
He quoted 2 Chronicles 20:20:
> “Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”
He urged believers to recognise that being prophetless or shepherdless is profitless, as they lack a spiritual father to guide them in spiritual revelations.
DON’T LIVE IN YESTERDAY
He cautioned believers against being trapped by past failures or becoming complacent because of previous achievements.
Instead, he urged them to keep moving forward.
VALUE YOUR TIME
Enenche encouraged believers to place a high value on their time because it is one of life’s most important measures.
AVOID OVEREXTENDING YOURSELF
He advised believers to exercise wisdom, discipline and balance rather than unnecessarily overextending themselves in different areas of life.
The conference marked Enenche’s final day of ministry in Uganda, with attention now turning to international evangelists Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland, who are expected in the country in the coming days.
According to figures presented during the conference, more than 800 people were prayed for concerning addictions such as masturbation, among others, while over 1,500 reportedly gave their lives to Christ.
Organisers also reported numerous healing testimonies.
The Big Fix Conference continues at Miracle Centre Cathedral, drawing believers for prayer, worship, teaching and spiritual renewal.
